Cajeput essential oil is extracted from distilled cajeput tree leaves and branches. Cajeput, a subtype of the melaleuca tree, is native to tropical Australia and Southeast Asia. Cajuput is also known as kajuput, melaleuca cajuputi, and minyak kayu putih.
